Roofs

House in JiuZaiGou, Sichuan. We managed to get accommodation inside the park. The photo shows the view outside the corridor leading to my room.

Here's a tip on getting accomodation inside the park. Anyone you ask outside the entry will say you cannot stay inside. When you get inside the park, ask any local (aka Tibetan looking person) and some may have ways to find you a bed. This worked in 2005.

Yalu Tsangpo River From Plane

Plane back to Chengdu, Above Tibet. I think the rainbow effect is cause by the refraction of light from the aircraft's window. Looks amazing though.

Yak 1

Namsto Lake, Tibet. Snow came down suddenly, and it was quite wet. My fingers were freezing in the cold as I quickly took out my camera to take this picture.

Yak 2

Namsto Lake, Tibet. Straight after I took this picture, someone came and asked for money for taking a photo of his yak head. It was quite an effort to act angry and aggressive at high altitudes, but I am such a cheapskate I got over the lack of oxygen.

Paper clips 1

@ Home. Really starting to love the supermacro function of my Canon Powershot SZ200IS. The subjects are paper clips in a plastic container. Light source from my laptop monitor.
